Assistant Teachers

​

We are looking for energetic, highly-motivated assistant teachers that have a passion for early childhood education.

​

If you have the ability to problem solve quickly and communicate effectively, are a fantastic team player, and have an abundance of creativity, enthusiasm, patience, and love for all children you might be a great fit!

 

Schedule is Monday - Friday; 30-35 hours weekly
Must be able to lift 50lb.

Job Types: Full-Time & Part-Time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Lead Teachers

​

We are looking for energetic, highly-motivated, qualified lead teachers that have a passion for early childhood education.

​

If you have an excellent understanding of child development and educational methods, the ability to communicate, instruct, and mediate effectively, and love and patience for all children you might be a great fit!

​

A lead teaching position is an exciting opportunity to be the focal point of our education services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create all your classroom’s activities and lesson plans. Our lead teachers experience the joy of seeing their class retain knowledge and grow in the classroom. Lead teachers build strong relationships with the families of our community by communicating with parents about how their kids are developing in our classrooms. Riverhouse’s lead teachers manage a teacher’s aide who supports implementing the lead teacher’s lesson plan.

 

Our staff are encouraged to participate in additional training programs to further their professional career and grow at Riverhouse.  All lead teachers at Riverhouse are paid while completing the mandatory 15 hours of continuing education.

All employees are required by State licensing regulations to successfully pass 2 criminal background checks as well as complete 7 hours of training within the first two weeks of being placed into a classroom.

 

All employees in contact with children are required to complete the following training annually:  Standard Precautions, Mandatory Reporter, Shaken Baby, Sleep Safe, Safety School, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Medication Administration, as well as 1st Aid/CPR. Staff are required to complete a minimum of 15 continued education hours annually.

 

Riverhouse strives to train its employees above and beyond the minimum training required by the state.
