Vice President
Waitlist & Classroom Capacity Committee Chair
Elizabeth Devlin
Elizabeth Devlin joined the Board of Directors in 2022 and is our Waitlist Committee Chair. She works remotely in Revenue Operations for a tech company specializing in solar energy and has experience in operations, business development, and support, along with her MBA. Elizabeth and her husband moved to Durango in 2021 after spending almost 10 years in the Front Range, and are both originally from Kansas. They have 2 kids currently at Riverhouse, and 1 Riverhouse graduate in Kindergarten, and love the teachers, staff, and parent community it has created.
Elizabeth loves talking about anything kids-related (birth, nursing, sleep, potty, food...) and enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, and anything outside with her family. They love to take road trips, especially just around Colorado.

Board Member, Treasurer
Laura Rothrock
Laura joined the board in 2023. Laura has lived in Durango since 2018, moving from Denver to enjoy more access to the outdoors and the smaller community feel that Durango has to offer.
Laura has a marketing degree from Colorado State University and is currently a Customer Success Manager for a large tech company. She has previously served on the board for a non-profit in Denver, Best Buddies. Laura loves to spend time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding with her husband, son and dog. She obtained her B.S. in Geology from Sam Houston State University and her M.S. in Geosciences from Texas Tech University. She is currently working as a Geologist for a local Oil & Gas company, which is what prompted the move to Durango. Her daughter is in the Hummingbirds classroom and has been attending Riverhouse since she was 3 months old.
In the last few years, Danielle has become increasingly passionate about the rights of working mothers. She welcomes discussions on maternity leave, pumping in the workplace, and all things associated with being a working mom. She hopes to be an advocate for policy improvement in her workplace as well as others.

Marie Wilson joined the Riverhouse Board of Directors in January of 2025. She had spent most of her life living in Wyoming where she and her husband John raised three children; one daughter, Amber and two sons, Shane and Brian. In 2022, Marie and her husband made the choice to start a new adventure in Durango where she began her job working as the Director of Durango North Head Start. When her grandson began attending Riverhouse in 2024, Marie wanted to be involved. As an Early Childhood professional, who has spent over 30 years in the field, she can see the value of what Riverhouse does for the children and families of the Durango Community.
